QUALIFIED TOOLMAKER
We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with preferred experience with CNC machining, but not essential as training will be provided.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITEIS:
- Machine high quality precision tooling parts according to engineering drawings provided
- Ensuring all specification/tolerances are met on all tooling parts manufactured
- Programme set up and operate CNC machines
- Ensure that work completed consistently meets design specification and highest engineering and quality standards.
- Continuously improving efficiency when manufacturing parts
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of toolroom equipment
- Maintain toolroom cleanliness
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fully qualified toolmaker
- Ability to take ownership of one’s own work and self-manage schedules and deadlines.
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings for tool assembly
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexibility
- Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
- Excellent attention to quality and detail
- Ability to operate toolroom equipment – lathes, mills, surface grinders
- EDM & CNC machining advantageous but not essential
SALARY:
Negotiable/depending on experience
Top rates of pay will be offered to suitable candidate.
